Azeem took his basic training from his father and later he was under the guidance of Mohsin Ali Khan. He is a disciple of the famous sitar maestro Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan.
He started learning sitar when he was just 6 years old. His first stage performance was at the tender age of 12. He got 1st position in Sangeet Natak Academy Music Competition held in Ghaziabad in 2003 .

This, ladies and gentlemen, is Jessie J. She is her own special creation. ‘I am so, like, the uncoolest person ever,' counteracts Jessie, admitting that her first ambition in life was to star in musical theatre. ‘My dad's cooler than me. He was the one playing D Train and Funkadelic in the house. I will not lie.' At 11, she auditioned for Whistle Down The Wind and landed a precocious two year West End residency. ‘That was when it all started,' she says, rolling her eyes, ‘You can get paid for this? Bring it on! They all used to call me Brat Pitt because I fell off the stage one night. I think Andrew Lloyd Weber thought I was going to sue him. He really cosied up after that.'
Jessie was then signed to Gut records, but the label promptly went bust. ‘Someone told me on the telephone. They've gone into liquidation. I didn't even know what it meant. Liquidisation? What, they've been turned into a soup?'
This girl isn't afraid of pulling herself up by her boot straps and starting all over. ‘I like the hustle. I like the grind. I just want to get out there.' Packing herself a small kit back she fled to America under her then agent's at William Morris Agency and had three weeks in New York, three in LA to try the trans-Atlantic option. ‘I landed off the plane in LA, did a showcase at the Viper Rooms and two days later I'm sat with LA Reid and there are 8 offers on the table. LA said to me he couldn't believe that British labels had passed up on me.' Obviously a major talent spots a major talent.
These things happen to Jessie. Label-less, she was picked up as a support act for Chris Brown's European tour after his manager caught her on Youtube. ‘I'm glad I had to learn how to be amazing on stage like that, how to fill somewhere the size of Wembley Arena with no press, no features, no record, no band behind me. It toughens you up. Being on stage is my home. Even if it's 20 minutes I'll take control of it because that is my time. It's when I come to life. It's just me, my heels and my mic.'
Jessie has ridden the internet age as if it were a pair of roller-skates with jet-packs attached. A true online sensation, she's sold out gigs and built a huge fanbase online. A new Myspace portal specifically designed for her, her very own online TV show, Dare Jessie, is about to launch. Fans can issue a series of challenges her way. Already those setting her tasks have included high profile fans Perez Hilton and Justin Timberlake. ‘Which is cool, of course it is, but I want everyone to get involved.' Jessie has a democratic approach to her fans. ‘Just because someone's famous don't make them more important.' The resulting TV show indicates just how fearless this incredible DIY pop star can be.
On the last day of a writing session in Hollywood, a song that Jessie scripted with hit-master du jour, Dr Luke, Party in the USA, was optioned by teen-scream heroine Miley Cyrus. ‘To be honest, it was better for her, its way too straight pop for me. The version I wrote and demoed on that day was well ironic.'
First scripted US number one hit under her belt and with Alicia's looking likely to follow suit, Jessie J found herself hot property back on home turf. ‘And because I'd been in and out of deals since I was 16, I had the perfect album, exactly as I wanted it to be, ready to go.'
The title track of Who You Are was written in the same week as Party In The USA. As hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck power ballads and vocal showcases go, they don't get much better. ‘I was phoning my mum and talking about all these crazy women I'd met in LA who were so different from me. I opened myself right out on that song. I was really down on that day. I was trying to remember who I was before I went out and was surrounded by all these women who looked so Hollywood perfect on the outside. The day I walked into the studio to write it I would've rather been in Essex eating pie and mash and watching an old episode of One Foot in The Grave. The words just fell out of me. It was exactly what I wanted to say about myself when I was that lost.'
Debut UK single ‘Do It Like A Dude' which features a monster of a remix from ‘Labrinth' is a straight out of the box party smash. Slinking around a middle of the dancefloor groove and making haste to skip to its addictive chorus, this is the most urban Jessie gets. It's almost a curveball for the young artist, though she's secretly reveling in the thrill of getting to release and putting herself out there at last. It's where she deserves to be. ‘I don't fit a template. When I did the video for Do It Like A Dude I wanted it to be what it is. I concepted it as ghetto chic. Girls grabbing their dicks? What's wrong with that? It's gully. But it's pop enough to go both ways. It felt like my wedding day. The next morning I was on a plane to New York to work with BoB, thinking did that really happen yesterday? All that build up and it was over in 19 hours.'
The rest of Who You Are is shaping up to be the pop release that everyone will need for the first half of 2011. Mama Knows Best is a 21st century slice of big-band doo-wop. You can quite imagine Jessie slinking down a pole to perform it as righteous urban burlesque. And in the immediate standout Nobody's Perfect Jessie just about nails her own character. ‘Sometimes I just can't shut the hell up' she intones in the first seconds of the song. ‘Ahem. Yep, that's me!'
Outspoken, righteous, cool and fun. There hasn't been a pop star like Jessie J before. You're unlikely to find one in the future either. They broke the mould with this one. Is she ready for it all? ‘People sometimes ask me who styled you? Who wrote your songs? I'm like, I did! I've got a personality. That's why I started writing music in the first place. Every single song on the album is a story of my life. I feel ready. Of course I do. I said it on my Twitter this morning. I feel ready, now steady and go are catching up with me.'

Jessica Ellen Cornish (born 27 March 1988), better known by her stage name Jessie J, is an English singer and songwriter. She signed a record deal with Island Records and began recording her debut album, Who You Are.
She first saw fame when she began writing tracks for Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus. The most successful track she co-wrote is "Party in the U.S.A.", which gained Platinum certification in many countries. On 7 January 2011 Jessie J came top of the BBC's Sound of 2011 list. She followed this in February by receiving Critics' Choice at the 2011 BRIT Awards.
She released her first single, "Do It Like a Dude" which peaked at 2 in the UK. Jessie released her follow-up single, "Price Tag" which went straight to number-one in the United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand and top ten in 19 other countries. It remained at number-one in the UK for two consecutive weeks. Her debut album was released on 25 February 2011 and charted at number-two on the UK Albums Chart.
Jessie J was born Jessica Ellen Cornish in Redbridge, London. She attended Colins Performing Arts. She was cast as an eleven year old in Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End production of Whistle Down the Wind.Educated at Mayfield High School in the London Borough of Redbridge. Cornish revealed she had two sisters who are five and seven years older than her. Her two sisters were both head girls at school. Unlike her academic sisters, Cornish has stated she was "never really that good at anything". She said "At school they were like 'oh, you're a Cornish girl' and they kind of expected me to be the same as my sisters. Give me something to draw or an outfit to pick for someone, or hair, make-up, acting, write a song, I'm fine with it, but anything to do with sums – it was never my thing." She also said she never based her intelligence on her exam results.She also said she was always good at singing and it was her "thing." However, she got banished from the school choir, for being too loud. She stated "I was in it for a day and some of the adults were moaning that their kids were upset that I was too good. I was 11. Can you imagine? I was heartbroken."
At the age of 16 she began studying at the BRIT School, and joined a girl group at the age of 17, titled "Soul Deep". Jessie J has had an irregular heartbeat since the age of 11, and also suffered a minor stroke at the age of 18. As a result, she doesn't drink alcohol or smoke. Jessie said: "At 11 I was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat. I had wires put in my shoulder, groin and heart to try and zap it to a normal rhythm, but it didn't really work. Then, at 18, I suffered a minor stroke. It was scary, but I'm fine now. Having bad health has made me realise I can't take anything for granted and I must look after my body." In early 2011, she suffered from a panic attack on stage, after she was forced to perform in the dark. "I did a gig recently and had a panic attack on stage," she told Now Magazine. "The night was called 'Black Out' and I had to perform in the dark. I asked them to turn on the lights and they didn't. I was onstage in pitch black and, because I couldn't see anything, I started to panic. It was awful.
2005–10: Career beginnings
She was signed to Gut Records, recording an album for the label, but the company went bankrupt before releasing material.[4][6] Jessie J then found success as a songwriter, gaining a Sony ATV publishing contract.[8] She was also the supporting singer for Cyndi Lauper during Lauper's UK dates of her 2008 Bring Ya To The Brink tour. The single gained positive reception from critics. The single charted at number two on the UK Singles Charts, being held off the top-spot by Bruno Mars with "Grenade". Her follow-up single "Price Tag" was released in late January 2011. The single went straight to the top of the charts charting at number one. It remained at number one for two exclusive weeks, however was knocked off the top spot by school friend, Adele with "Someone Like You". "Price Tag" was released in the United States on 1 February 2011. The single has since charted at eighty-eight on the Billboard Hot 100. The single has since charted at number-one in New Zealand and Ireland.Her first American television appearance was as the musical guest on the 12 March 2011 episode of NBC's Saturday Night Live.
In 2010, her single "Sexy Silk" was featured in the film Easy A.
On 25 February 2011, she released her first debut album, Who You Are. Due to high demand and interest from fans for the album, the release date was pushed ahead by an entire month, from its original 28 March 2011 release date. On 6 March 2011, it was announced that the album had charted at number two on the UK Album Charts, being held off the top spot by Adele.

In this journey during this couple of years from ‘Instinct’ to ‘The Mind’ via ‘Eternity’ his unquenched thirst drags him deep to explore the newer avenues with spirited zeal blended with his creative pursuits in his mission to enter the inner depth parlor of the ‘mind’. We can attribute this attempt a search for the new vocabulary of ‘visual poetry’.
In order to capture the varied mood and movements of the ‘Mind’ and paint with deep passion and vision in a spontaneous mode, he is deeply indulged in his works with overlapping emotions hunting his thoughts to come out in his voluntary ink drawings of lines and curves. The encounter between Emotion and feeling (Bhaba) and reality zoom his skills and thoughts in the varied mood and temperaments of the ‘mind’ that acts and reacts in different situations differently. It bursts with laughter, cry, anger, hatred, sometimes silently remains aloof in sadness, keeps away in shy and some times, buries in shame. Rasa and Bhaba coin together to speak of his ‘mind’ that experienced the vivid pictures of recent pasts are contemporary events of personal and universal. The works can be defined as ‘mind game’ of a young soul seeking solace in turmoil, searching peace and tranquility in chaos and catastrophe.
The works can better be called the collage of colloquial simplicity. The images coming out of ink spreading voluntarily of a ‘Player Mind’ with hands moving spontaneously in a guided direction to open the ‘Pandora Box’ of the ‘mind’ that plays hide and seek with agony and ecstasy. The ink drawings are very informal in style and technique and he lets his hand to work with the flow of ‘mind’ that works in silhouette.

Happiness is the debut studio album by English synthpop duo Hurts, released in the United Kingdom on 6 September 2010. It was preceded by the release of the singles "Better Than Love" on 23 May 2010 and "Wonderful Life" on 22 August 2010. The song "Devotion" is a duet with Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue. To promote the release of the album the band made the non-album song "Happiness" available as a free download via Amazon.co.uk on 1 August 2010. Happiness received mixed reviews from music critics. It debuted at number four on the UK Albums Chart and topped the Greek Albums Chart. The album peaked at number two in Austria, Germany, Poland and Switzerland. It also peaked within the top ten in Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Sweden.
"Better Than Love" was released as the lead single on 23 May 2010 in the United Kingdom. It spent one week at number fifty on the UK Singles Chart, and charted in Belgium, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
The second single, "Wonderful Life" was released on 22 August 2010 in the United Kingdom. It was previously released as the band's debut single in Denmark on 3 May 2010.
